Sounds like it’s going to be a great conference. Will Anglican TV be covering it?
One important distinction I make in discussing other faiths is not to discount the FAITH of someone in, for instance, Islam. It is the OBJECT of their faith that is to be questioned. I think that liberal worldviews tend to overlook this distinction by calling all faiths equal. Of course, everyone has the right to choose what path they will follow but the lie is that all paths lead to God.

As a regular mission traveler to Africa, I have witnessed the muslims rapidly building schools and mosques for the propogation of their faith. As Christians, we need to counter this with Christian schools and churches including reliable electricity to stimulate faster learning. I do not believe Islam can compete with educated Christians. However, take Christian education out of the picture and I believe the rural people are vulnerable to other faiths. The rural people of the developing countries are ripe for the harvest. The question is which faith will make the necessary investment?

I hope that is part of the discussion at this conference.

The link points to a large file which has the entire parish newsletter and may be slow to download. A short cut to the conference site is HERE looks like pretty much the same schedule. At least I hope it is because that is how I am planning my time.

It looks wonderful, especially with Al Mohler leading off! Interesting to have him at the “Mere Anglicanism” conference.
